ABOUT US

About Us
San Antonio Foster Care and Adoption Services, Inc. was established in 2015 by Oralia Waldron, John Waldron and Sara Ochoa for the purpose of providing assistance to boys and girls in crisis who were in need of a safe and nurturing home. San Antonio Foster Care and Adoption Services, Inc. is a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by a Board of Directors. We provide placement to those in need without regard to race, color, creed or national origin. We are currently supported entirely by voluntary donations and gifts. The children we serve come from all walks of life. We serve foster children from birth to 22 years of age. We will also assist children during any and all transitional phases involved in foster care.

Ultimately, we believe that children grow and prosper best within a home environment where they not only feel safe but also where they are able to learn about God, themselves, others, their family and life. Our goal is to surround them with adults who will love, care and support them so they will grow into their God given potential and overcome any challenge or problem they face in the future.

Our Mission
To provide stable, long-term, Christ-centered foster homes for boys and girls in crisis and in need of a safe and nurturing environment. We seek to surround these children with adults who will love, care for, and support them. In the end, our hope is that they overcome their challenges and problems and grow into their God-given potential. We are committed to trying to keep siblings together while making everlasting connections for the betterment of all involved.

Our Values
Excellence – Setting our work and performance standards higher because that’s what our children deserve
Honesty – to our children and foster parents, at all times
Faith – Christ-centered foster homes to promote each child’s God-given potential
Community – our values extend beyond the homes and into our surroundings
Respect – protecting the dignity and rights of each child and parent
Loyalty – standing by our foster parents
Integrity – requiring high ethical standards from our foster parents, as God holds of us
